Hi Sunce1971, thanks for the kick up the arse!

Better late than never I guess - concept sketch will come in 1 or 2 days - thinking about some kind of concert with some colourful characters dancing. They will have extreme body modifications, skin implants etc, and probably will go for punk style. Think extreme moshing...

The main character will probably have medusa-style metal snakes for hair. Kind of stuck on the other people (maybe 2 other main people). I'd like the image to have a lot of movement and vitality, and it will be illustrative rather than photo-realistic.

I'm blown away by the phenomenal entries so far, so this will be just for fun and self-improvement I think. Good luck everyone!

OK this is now officially a very late entry! Will be pulling my finger out from now on...

Want to keep some humour in this piece through the details. The final look I'm thinking about is using a fair bit of post, using Phil Hale and Dave Mckean for inspiration. The figures will be built to this view only to save time but will model and rig the snakes so that I can get a bit of motion blur when rendering.
