View Full Version : character setup > smoothbinding > binding smoothproxy mesh

i've finally tackled one hurdel i've selected individual joints and individual pieces of mesh and binded them the weird thing is that it picks my low poly mesh up fine! (it needs a little tweaking but the overall picture is better than it was before) but it does not seem to pick up the smooth mesh.

The smooth mesh seems to float around and a little above the arm, legs rest of the body allthough it's a nice effect it's not what i want i want it to stick to the bones like the lo poly mesh.

PS when binding i select the the smoothproxy group in the outliner mayby i'm making mistakes here.

i fixxed it mmm sorry

but anyways i still find it kind of weird why maya does that
