View Full Version : Game Art Comp 6: Kyle MacLachlan / Twin Peaks(or FWWM)

A couple of months back, my parents introduced me into the world of Twin Peaks... It has definatly been an enjoyable ride, it is by far, my favorite movie, and show in the entire world! It would be only fair if i got to model the main Character, our very own FBI Agent Dale cooper! At first, i wanted to model BOB, yes, our favourite psychomanic Black Lodge inhabitent! But then for some reason i decide to model Dale.(Twin Peaks spoiler ahead) There is a connection between them, so i guess i would be modeling 2 in one... plus i've never rigged faces, and created facial expressions, so i guess it'll be fun trying to get that same evil smile that we last saw him wear.
But..There is still something missing... What would our professional, supernatural, gifted FBI agent be without his number one source of energy, and secret weapon?!

3 more hours of work... The face is almsot done, the texture is still not final, plan on redoing it later(used it just for show) the texture looks weird because of the shadows(i used a photo for the texture) so i plan on fixing everything later on... Please give me crits on the face, this is my first successful face, i have never ever done a face this good before, even though it is my best, it still sucks. So please help me improve it :)

cut down on polys. If the face is going to move, make edge loops. If the face is static, then just cut down polys.eyes aren't deep enough.he has cheek bone but no cheeks.eyes too far apart.

It would help too if you show the model progress untextured.
