I like so much the crimson room, (that the author is Toshimitsu Takagi), and now the viridian room
(now only go to the viridian room)
I am going to make something similar, but modeling a apartment, no only a room.
These are the first outlines.

The colours are pretty bright...but i like your concept. I do like these types of games. Keep going!

It's difficult to tell due to some camera angels but it appears that the room is about 9' by 6'. The chairs seem to take up a lot of room!
Anyway, I couldn't see what you were trying to go for because the link wouldn't open but so far it looks like it's going well.
I feel that the black outlines are a little thick but I don't know what look you want so I'm not going to make any judgements yet.

Thanks for your commentaries, I thought that nobody write nothing.
The measures of the room are approximately on scale.
Refresh the links, I test it and are ok, or write the url on a new window.
The swfs are only one frame, a image. When I model all I will make the animations and buttons.
I put too on
It lacks the hall, the kitchen the bath and another rooms.
The chairs are a test to see what of them like me more
Is true that the black outlines are a little thick but now I am modeling and testing the swfs, change the thickness of the lines is easy.

im not sure sure if this is a bit off topic but have u ever got out of the crimson room? how? ive already got the mysterious box to play the video but i still cant open the key with the ordinary key found in the cd player.

ok tnx. btw about your room, looks pretty good except for a couple of things. 1) the chairs, what are they for? if theyre for interogation then their fine. but if theyre for the computer then its not very functional. try something more ergonomic. 2) the speakers, it seems out of place with some parts rendering without outlines. maybe a little consistency of the look would be better. 3) whats taking you so long? when can we see a single swf that moves around?hehehe

The chair is for the computer and it and the speakers like me.

oh.. about rooms... a while ago I made this website... with the v.3 I'll make a camera animation for the rooms...

i liked that crimson room game. anyways, it is looking EXCELLENT.
what kind of feel are you planning for this game though?
it looks very "happy" and not creepy at all (althought i don't know what your intentions are so i won't make any judgements)

I am planning a normal and colloquial feel,
a possible and believable situation where I hide it in the house and the game is find it, decorated with messages, and I think too that it will not only a site finish, doing radomize so that it changes the place object. The problem is that to think and to plan is fast and to do is slow.
Crimsoon Room (Takagi) is inspired by:
The mistery of time and space (Logan)
I like it is specially very good animated
I see it, but I dont know how make or exit it,
do not ask me for hints or tips please, no because I dont Know.

I was just checking out the www.milkandcookies.com site and what do you think I found on there?....Your Crimson Room! You are famous!! Hehehee, I saw it and thought "Hey, I know that room, I have spoken to the person who built it!" so that's pretty cool.
Now I'm not sure if its just me, but without those hints and tips that you sent, I don't think I ever would have made it out of that room. I thought it was hard, as some of those things weren't obvious and hard to find. Maybe its just me, but thats what I thought.

I think that the viridian room is more easy that crimson room.

I say you the program that I use, I model in maya, rendering with Maya vector that is incluyed with maya 5, and now maya6, then I import the swf with flash and remake and delete any vectors and failles because it, deleting I optimize the size in Kb of the swf.
I too have make probes using deep explorer to export the maya format to 3ds format of 3dmax, or modeling with 3dmax, and then import with swift3d or Plasma, but all make a imperfect swf,
I say imperfect, It make it good, but it is how vectorice a bitmap, you can use streamline, flash, freehand, but is better if then you remake the vector file. But all is probe all parameters with any models and scenes.
Link to tutorials of making 3d flashes I dont Know any if you know any post here.
I only would give you the sites of the oficial 3d programs, tutorials of 3d there are very much, and for export to swf you can see the help of the program, I think that is easy export to swf, buy you have to model first.

I supose that with softimage or lightwave or cinema 4d you too can export and convert a model in swf, but I dont know sure if the plugin for it is with the program or is apart

Another game in flash, I like the world that it create.
About the voice in viridian room of takashi, it does not matter what the voice says, is not necessary to exit.
