Should I use a mesh with a refractive setting based on a bump map, particles with a refraction, or do it with combustion.
Now I'm new to combustion and I'm really unsure how to do this properly. I've managed to get a movie to distort another quicktime movie, but I've imported a single image and not a series of images. It just doesn't seem like the distort filter will do a good enough job in post.
What should I do?
Also, if I was to create particles in Lightwave for the displacement map in combustion, how big should they be and should I apply a motion blur to them?
