This is my first post on these forums after much viewing
This about 1 hours work and i need ALOT of help, please dont hesitate to completely bash this, ill take what i get =)

Looks like you're off to a good start. Topography seems sound. Head looks good. The upper body seems to be working, although the upper arms (bicep/tricep) look a bit off. Like they're a little too round. Elbows seem a little too far out maybe. You got a bit of work to do on the lower legs though. I think just keep doin what you're doin, it looks like it should come together. And the more referances you use, the better. Good luck.

The upper half is looking real good so far, i think the arms are still to cylindrical though, your should add more definition to the muscle structure, elbow, etc....
Hmmm, the legs look ok so far, but they also could do with a little more definition, the crotch looks to "flat" right now (i'm not saying model a bulges, but it does need a little curvature) You could define the knees a little too I suppose.
Good luck with the model and keep fleshing him out, in no time you will have a solid character, i'll be following this! :)

i worked on the upper torso and fixed the arms. I also took into account he looked like a baseball player with that hat so i changed that a tad

Lookin' pretty good. Definitly a lot of potential for this model.
Two things that I see, are his arms, and his lower leg. The lower leg needs some kinks worked out, and there is some strange bumps going on in his bicep area in the top view. It looks as though you are modeling his entire arm outside the sleeve.

I havent spend the time on the legs yet, so they are untweaked
i am having some trouble with the arms, if anyone has good refrence pictures of top/back/front i would greatly appreciate it. I am working from one already which isnt going to well.
Oh boy, wait until you see the texturing (sarcasm)
Ill continue on with this model

i have been working on the upper arms and the torso some more to get the way i feel looks best
its coming along better, im having some trouble with the hands. From the top view it looks perfect, but frim perp and front, they look odd. I think it is the finger width. Any comments?

i apollogize for the double post. Here is the wire and i tweaked the fingers. I am a bit more satisfied but still not content with it.

Id go through and delete the old images from your posts though ;) just leave us with the newset set for now hehe.

the current tri count is a 2809, which isnt bad. I can optimize it some more (i think)
Im still not satisfied. I spoke to somone in our team (FakeID: lead modeler) and he said i have some proportions wrong.
Can somone help me out here?

hmm you should try to lower the count and make textures that will simulate detail
looks good so far tho :)

the head proportions were all wrong and i fixed them

Im attempting skinning the head atm
