Thanks guys! I'm sorry it's soo dark, It's calibrated for TV which is never good. I'll try to adjust, brighten it up a bit, and relink it soon if I can.
After that It's time to redo the models and start on the second teaser.

The action was pretty nice. The audio was not. Dark Eagle's voice is bad (an animator should never do his own voice work)... the bad guys voice is okay, but I can't hear either of them over the music. Good animation and cutting, I dont like the render or colors very much though.
Oh yeah, the credits are too long for a demo reel, too.

Best action clip I have ever seen
Keep it up Jes-X

Alright I'll definately admit that doing my own voice work was not a good choice, but it was my only choice considering my time constraints.
At the same time you missed out on the horriblness that was my first dialog recording.
I've had trouble with the music levels as well, fortunately this isn't the final music and there will also be effects and such in at some point. But thats not something being done by me.

Awesome Jesse! Remember to keep us updated on your latest work! :)
Oh, and remember what you still owe me!

Cool! Nice work, love the animation.
Good music too (it's from Halo, right?)
03 March 2004, 04:47 PM
I am going to 2nd HenningK on his post
maybe even better music, and no voices at all?
might bring more attention to the animation
good luck to you in the future

I hope the guys at VFS like it.

Your reel rocks! but u rock more!
Yea, youre the one who discovered the pork chop sandwhiches GI Joe thingy, and a proud founder of the "thrusting greeting" (copyright Lea, Jesse, and Adrian)
hey hey, we should go back and do that to Gene kekekekek

I agree with Ho Suck,
... u rulez....
WE'RE GOING STREAKING!!!!!!!!
Again, kick ass reel dude

credits need music for sure
Get some animated smoke/lightning instead of the static stuff you have for the title backgrounds.
too many "snarl shots" involving the "bad dude."
otherwise, very emotive and good, natural motion. Good fighting. Camera movements could be a little more interesting but it's pretty good as is. I would also like to see some hgiher quality AA and motion blur on the rendered animation as I think it owuld make it a little more "pro" looking.

Hey Jessy! Good job on your film, the renders came out really nice. I would have loved to have seen the train fly by a station or a little more background. But that is the modeler in me speaking!
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on what your up to.
