Nice start. I don't really read what his armor is but I'm sure that with textures it will make sense.

I moved your thread to the appropriate forum. You'll get more focused feedback here :)

whoa - bring that waist up! the uruk hai have a broad, compact torso, if i remember right - keep tweaking! its a good start

good start
fix the proportions a lil bit and go for texturing
it can be ace , so good luck with it

basicaly it's good but the uruk hai had some human proportions (make the hands a little longer and the legs also a bit longer).

A good rule of thumb for proportioning your arms is that when outstretched, your arms from fingertip to fingertip will be as wide as you are tall. Your arms are way too short here. Do a google on the number "phi," it's nature's number for proportions. Often called, "The divine proportion." A Uruk Hai will be stylized of course, but remember it was stylized over an actors body, therefore there are distinct similarities.

d'oh! all these replies?! mmm...cgtalk mailer seems doesn't work evry well :)

anyway thx guys, i agree on all suggestions regarding proportions, tonight (hope to have time) i'll fix them.

In these days i re-modeled the head, wasn't compatible with news uruk hai's standards (tm), these the new version with a texture test (skin, mouth are still under construction):

nice textures. Maybe you could add some more dirt on the helmet (coagulated blood maybe :) ). I like the gums texture
