View Full Version : low level matrix ops crashing and burning...
It's really ugly, can anyone suggest anything?
I'm building a mesh in a loop.
It's not even a large
mesh and it's crashing max clear
to the desktop.
Here's the general scenario:
I calculate a vertex and add it
to the mesh using setNumVerts().
I set the vertex point with SetVert().
I loop through a number of vertices.
Then I add faces to the mesh and
set the face vertex indices. I rotate
the mesh and then go through the
loop again to add the next row of
As soon as I do an update mesh
it crashes to the desktop.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Well, it's crashing when I do the mesh
update. It seems to really hate it when
you try to resize the mesh and add
new points to it. Since you can
obviously do this interactively I tried
running macro recorder to see what
code it used. It won't show the code
it uses. That's annoying!
Got it to work. Do not interactively
build a mesh vertex by vertex. It hates
it when you do that. Create
arrays and use the setmesh operation.
