View Full Version : Renderman API help...

I got a serious problem here and hope that someone out there can help me with this one. I'm trying to compile a Renderman C like program in a Windows2000 evironment and it's not working out. The code is from the Renderman Companion Listing 2.1 but I guess the problem is the linking of the right *.lib's. So here is what I did. I included the ri.h into my program and then set the path to the librib.lib. After that I tryed to compile the code but all I get are 36 errors saying that the linker isn't able to resolve external symbols. Here is one Linie of the Dump:
librib.lib(param.o) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _HashTableAdd

So perhaps someone can help me with my problem....

 THX everman

I read somewhere that you also need to link with libzip.lib, which should also be in the prman libs directory. Might be worth trying that, as the hash table reference in your error message sort of suggests it might be a compression related dependency.

Hope this helps.
