Hey guys, just trying my hand at modeling a lower poly mechanical model. I'm done building it, now i just need to clean it up and optimize it. It's currently 1646 triangles. Just lookin for some critiques and feedback. I'll have a wire up in a few......Oh, and if anybody has any blueprints or schematics for the M-24 Hind Russian attack helicopter, maybe you could send 'em my way, or let me know where to find them. That helicopter rules! Didn't see any at suurland or onnovanbram. Thanks all.
Here be the link.....

Nice model, very accurate as I can see. Can't wait for texture.

If You are looking for Russian vehicle, You should search Russian websites :)

here You can find many blueprints (http://www.airwar.ru/other/drawe.html)

Drawings of Mi-24 are here (http://www.airwar.ru/other/draw/mi24.html) and here (http://www.airwar.ru/other/draw/mi24-2.html) . Hope it helps :)

Sweet Moses! Just what I was looking for! I'm all giddy now. I guess I need to get better at Googling cuz I looked for like an hour with no luck. And thanks for the feedback on my model too!

I'd love to see those helicopters in combat [with me as a pilot :)] - hope You'll show us that Hind too :) This is for game? or portfolio? Will You texture it?

Hey, really nice moddel there, i see it is in poly, are you going to convert to Sub-D ? I think it would really smooth that way.

Anyway dont forgot to post when textured ;)

Looks good you going to conver to Sub-D when you done ?

Because that will look SICK !

Anyway cant wait for the textures.

Yeah, it's basically game art for my portfolio. Now i just gotta decide if I wanna do a quick low poly version of the Hind right now or wait a little bit while I finish some other projects that need to get done, and then spend some time doing a nice 6000 poly version in all it's majestic glory and ruthless splendor. Decisions, decisions.
