Great game... I got 491.8 as best score :(

I just got a series of around 490 with the highest being 492.2

It looks like it hits some sor of edge or limit. Has anyone gotten farther than that?

Yeah I got further, read above. You are hitting it to early, making the penguin go upwards too fast and therefore eventually nosediving. What you want to do is hit it a little later, make it rise a bit above the horizon line and there's a certain angle where is still bounces. If you hit it too high it gets its head stuck in the snow, you gotta find the point just before that.

Just for the record, 593.5 and 593, with advice from IJ.
Wow, it's funny what you spend time on isn't it?

Well you can't spend all day solving the mysteries of the universe. Bashing penguins is very important stuff. I am just glad that they say "whee" and not "ow".

If that does get old, you can always ponder the profound messages in these flash animations:

I mean...I haven't found it yet, but I'm sure it's there...deep...hidden...significant messages...
