Ok guys here goes...joining this a bit late. After about an hr of work last night, I was at this point...

Then after a bit this morning I made it to here...

Would love to hear your comments...I'm going for a cartoony look to him, as with the 2d version being so small...there is lots of room for improv :)

Small Update, added more loops around the knees/shoulders for proper bending when posing/animating...

come on now... what's this "image links" crap :)
You're a veteran, post the image to auto load.

I would shape the head more like a helmet. The lower head slopes pretty quickly and leads to a pinched neck.
I would also add some meat to the middle of the foot, seems pretty narrow in the middle too.

As per your request...update!

Fixed the feet, and tried to slim the head a bit to make it more helmet like...let me know what you guys think

Just a thought but shoudn't the visor portion of the helmet be recessed into the helmet rather than bulging outward? Like an astronaut's helmet?

Or are you going for a look like it's a motorcylce helmet where the visor rotates upward on the outside of the helmet?
