View Full Version : good pose reference?

I feel like I often have trouble coming up with poses (dynamic or casual) when I'm working on my animation. Working in games, I always need to have good idle or action poses for the loops. I check out figure drawing and comic books, and toy sites are really good for poses (esp. )because they have pictures of all the figures but does anyone know of good online reference or books? I've heard of the PoseFile books series
( ), are they worth it? Thanks.

Drawing for animation reference info and lots of good poses at his site.

If you are in the LosAngeles Area you may be able to find some classes that Glenn is teaching and attend them. For instance if yo have friends at Rhythm and Hues Glenn gives lectures there and you may be able to sit in.

Otherwise, he has alot of online reference.
He is the best . my humble opinion.
