View Full Version : Specular- and reflection-map in MR?!

I have tried MR for MAX for while and figuring out if this is the render to buy for my studio... But later on I have run into some problems:

When assigning a raytrace-map into the reflection-slot (in a standard-max-material īcuz MR does not support raytrace-materials) I understand that MR does render a raytrace-material...but donīt give a shit about the settings in it - e.g. if I assign a map to get the reflection to vary a bit, MR just ignore this! And the same with the specular-map... Can this be true in such an expensive renderer!?! And is this a problem just in the MAX-connected version of MR?!!
