Hi!It is my new work for a game.I made the model in 3dmax4.2,drew the textures in photoshop5,and rigged it in character studio .

Hi your character looks real great. Really nice ideas.

just a little thing I think he could need. Maybe some hairs on the back or some scars.

I agree he's not exactly a usual type of devil, but that is a great character you've done.

To give some real crits: I don't like how the face turned out. I don't know what's wrong with it, but I just don't like it. I think it's the expression, not sure though.

The texturing and modelling is very well done.

Excellent texture, i would guess its a devil based on Chinese mythology rather than your typical western devil.

Do you have any other material completed? With the fighting devil as a basis you'll probably want to build a portfolio of material that you can contact games companies with. Good luck.

Very cool. He would certainly make a nice addition to any video game. The textures are great, particularly the metalic bits, though you can't knock that skin. Nice work!

Top notch low poly model!

It's definately more of an Asian style devil.

I'm curious about the cloth in the front that hangs over his crotch. Will the texture appear on the back of the cloth as well? I wasn't able to tell by your screens. I was wondering how you modeled that part.

the design the texturing are too great !!!

maybe just a little little thing the metallic part are too black you should add some more shininess

but i really like it

Being a 3d artist, I work in a game company in China now.I have done the reeltime 3d work near 3 years.
I am good at modeling and drawing the texture.I hope I can get a job in U.S, Cnnada, or Europe~~~~:)

This model is really only 1564 triangle,because of the specification of this subject,it only needs one expression per model , so I didn't put more polygons on the face.I drew more details on the texture.If you can make the edges of the model matching what you drawing on the texture,your model will look like it has more polygons.

Hey there,

Really nice. REALLY NICE.

The skin tones for your character are spot on, and I can't really see any errors in the shading or anything like that. Perhaps they are right, some scars, or some more blemishes on the skin: maybe even some liver spots on the back of the head.

Keep up the brilliant work - you'll get the job you want some day! If you can't then I most certainly can't!

Bluryu did you use cylinder unwrap for the arms?
Its the area that causes the most problems for me.

Thank you all!
It took me about 40 hours to make the model and draw the texture.

I always break the model at first,then select a part of meshs to use the plane unwarp to every pat of the model.

Fantastic work, great texture work.

However, from what I have seen of games, you could add quite a bit more detail and still be fine. Of course I could be wrong on that. I am only just starting out.

But great work.

Though I don't care for the almost butt showing part. Full pants preferred.
