View Full Version : Quads or Triangles

I have a question on poly limits in UT2003.
I am told 2500 was the max polygons you should use.
My question is, 2500 quads or 2500 triangles?
If anyone could answer this I would appreciate

I think you can comfortably use 3000 or 3500 polys for character models in the current generation Unreal engine, but I suppose it depends on how many models you want on the screen at one time. Also, this number refers to triangles - pretty much everything for games is in tris, not quads.
