i know the pilots may look weird from certain angles but since side view will be show the most i think its ok

I really like the appearance of the metal, that sort of powder coated look ( i think thats the term ) sometimes seen on concept cars. Not bad for the polycount either

I love it! Great design and the texture work is top notch.
Personally I think you should just get rid of the pilot silouhette, it might look a lot better and less confusing.
Since you mirrored the texture and the decals are reversed just replace the letters and numbers with ones that are reversable like 0 l M and stuff like that (it's a bit of a cheat but, looks better than backwards characters.)
By the way, I saw your other texture work - you have got some incredible talent. Your weapons are outstanding! Please post more when you get a chance.
