View Full Version : Double Transform on Spline IK

I'm having a problem with a double transform on the Spine of my character. I was creating a Spline IK Backbone like the one in Mr. Schleifer's DVD.
Everything was working fine until i constrained the hip control to the Root joint. Once i did that, when i translated the hip control the Spline Backbone was being double tranformed. I used the jsConstobj to constrain, and then i tried the parent constraint. Each gave the same results.
Any idea how i can get rid of this?

you should probably be constraining the Root joint to the hip control.. not the other way round... you need the hip control to animate with..

sorry. That is what i meant to say. Root to Hip.

check and make sure the curve isn't a child of the joints.. if it is, you'll certainly get double-transforms. :)
