This was the first thing i did with my wacom back in 2001...(that's why i selected it to be my avatar) so it's quite old now, but all my friends say it's cool so i decided to post it here.
Done in Painter classic.
Also, note that i don't do 2d...only 3d. I use the wacom for texturing and some sketches, so...be nice to me.
Another note is that this wasn't done over a photo. I used a photo as a reference (from National geographic i think...) and i drawed it with the photo by my side, not over it. I didn't scanned the photo too. So, this wasn't traced or anything.
It is also on it's original resolution.
Waiting for some crits...

You should do more 2d.

its pritty good i like it even. there could be more transition of course but it still looks good. you should be proud of it. not many ppl can switch dissaplenes

i never post on these forums, i registered awhile ago but spend most of my time browsing the art here. you're the first person i have ever replied to in regards to their art.... anyways, this is really fantastic. hard to believe this was done in painter as it looks very much like ink. really really nice job!! :applause:
and i agree with the person that said you need to do more 2d stuff. look forward to seeing some more!
