OK... I droped the sensible soccer guy.

I'm doing Chuckie Egg.

cant find a god damn decent screenshot...

any way... I think you all know him

OK, roughed out a little sketch of what Chuckie looks to me.

a big belly redneck :)

yes, yes I do like messy sketches, and my drawing skills aren't exactly average in a non-posotive way. The only thing that I think you should change from the model sheets is put the legs/feet back a little.. but that wouldn't be too hard to change in the model, good luck!

nice sketches, though i prefered the fatter version meself. The latest sketch looks a bit too slender - hes practically a dumpy sphere with legs and a hat in the game, but cos the sprite is so basic, i guess youre free to do anything you like!

You were saying you cant find any images? - Im guessing youve done the same, but heres the results of a google image search - im sure you can use something here....

I was trying to make his body look like and egg right at the start.

andy, do you belive if I tell you that I didn't think of making an "image search"... man I can be really stupid sometimes.

yes, the feet are a bit to the front. my bad. but yes, I'll fix that up while modeling.

the fatter version can also be tested in the modeling fase.

gotta update my todo list! :)

I think with the poly limit of 3000 you can push his details a bit more, ie clothes shoes, I don't know if you were planning to do this. Other than that, nice start.

I should be ashamed of even posting such a rough model, but at this point I should be worrying about proportions and volume.

I'm thinking of adding some folds on the mesh, but most on the bump/normal map.

I'm thinking of droping this. not sure I'll have time to finish it... also I'm not having much fun since the level of interest seems to be restricted to 2 users.

Hmm, normally i dig your work, so no hard feelings :) but...

i think there isn't much interest because you chose a boring character. he looks like a normal guy. Maybe if you make him undead or somnething, that could spice it up. And you also chose an uncommon game character too, which doesn't help your situation.

you did a good job with what you got though, just need to do something to spice up the character.

I don't like the connection between the thigh and the torso. and you should give him a indcation of a chin.

well, the no chin was on porpous. thats a design tryck, to make a character look silly

so, I gess your right...

he's got nothing special really...

An undead chuckie egg!? LOL!

Models lookin nice so far. I dunno what your poly count is, but i think you could use a few more edges on his hands to stop them looking so blocky.
In my opinion, from what i remember from chuckie egg, I think that his arms & legs are a little long.

Keep it up tho - lets hope you get him sorted for the deadline.
