Welcome! After seeing your web pages I know this is gonna be good. Plenty of time unless there's a forest fire....

You framed the figures up nicely.

Oh wow! Nice loose painterly style! I love it! Only 10 days left ... Go man GO!!!

No critique other than the applied texture filter needs to go.

Just came back from your website. Love the sketchiness in your paintings. Adds a lot of feeling and lifelyness (=that english?) to it. Great work!

Love to see your challenge finished.
(btw I agree with Kirt: loose that canvas-filter).

thanks everyone:) gonna start the next stage today.

about the texture. it's not a filter. not sure if any of you have used Painter/PS7?
I would be very supprised if you could get this look with a filter. it's part of the new brush system in PS, paper texture.
as to whether it looks like crap or not....I like it, helps me draw for some reason. breaks up the lines in a nice way.
I'm still playing around with the brush system. a lot of people have commented on the texture. I think it's way too uniform. but I can think of ways to make it better with custom scaned paper textures etc. Idunno still thinking about it.
heh, if it looks like a filter tho...ugh, not a good thing.

here are a few other things I've done with the same kind of brush and showing the same kind of technique I'd use to colour it.

suppose the Q you like the image? does the texture make it look bad.
I'm interested to see what people think.

thanks again=)

If that's a brush texture it needs some scatter or something applied to it. It's way too uniform in your WIP sketch giving it that texture filter look. Personally, I don't think you need it. The image works well on it's own with the values and painterly style.

Although, in your recent examples it's not as noticable in the last colored image. It is distracting in the B&W drawings, but you're going to color this (right?) so I guess there's no real reason to take it out.

:applause: Great drawings man.
I really like all of your images.
I made the first one my temp background, as I sometimes do when I see cool stuff.
What is your real naem cos I saved the images in my folder for other people challenge art?
Further I got no crit, I think it is cool as how it is,'
If you make the firt image in collor or more detailed ( with a larger gray scale palet) then it would be cool.
Will there be more, cos the coloored image isn't in an enchanted forests. first is.
I wanna see more:buttrock:
