There are too many awesome 2d characters out there and instead of making me go insane trying to figure out who I will model I made a decision...I will do strider. The funny thing about strider is that I have never played the game.. I have always wanted to but never did. I will have some sketches later on tonight hopefully to show you my rendition in the meantime here is a screen...I hope it works.

Nice choice! check out Marvel vs. Capcom a more advance version of this character. Strider is a high tech ninja.cant wait to see what you come up with in ways of weapons and his clothing!! awesome.

I've played Strider on C=64, cool game, lots of jumping and lightning fast slashes! Good choice, I was thinking about is myself.

I loved that game. I remember sliding around a lot and that's about it.

Makes me wish i could play it again right now!

Here are a few quick sketches. they don't look too great but its a start..I am thinking of a strider of the future. Perhaps half cyborg...I will have a better sketch to replace this one. Critiques welcome.

Ok here is the final concept for the new and improved strider..what do you think. I should start modeling soon.

Looks good enough to start modelling. I dont know if I like the cyborg approach, but it's your choice altogether.

Nice redesign, but think about the sword once more! You should put the second handle to the opposite side.

Yeah Strider's "Cypher" blade is almost as much a character as he is. Its interesting ot see this design, looks like old skool Capcom from the eighties alah Trojan.
