View Full Version : Setting Up Arms For Characters

Has anyone got any tips for setting up arms for a character?

The rig Im using is irritating because I cant get the range of movement that I want out of it!

I have up vector constraints, an FK and IK arm system (the forearm bone is duplicated made child to the origional forearm enabling both FK and IK) and an expression keeping the up vectors behind the body!

I would really apprecitate some help on this subject!

This set up for the arm should be very flexible..(if i remember well Chris Maraffi has a similar one in his book )
What do u mean that u can't get the range of movement that u want?
Anyway, have a look at , there r many tutorials about character set up :)
