View Full Version : Looking for advice

09 September 2013, 10:51 PM
I'm currently enrolled in college for computer animation. My knowledge base on this subject is pretty small. I'm looking for any advice that you may think is pertinent to this subject. Please give any feedback or help. Thanks.

Hey Andrew,

I'd recommend going on youtube and looking up some videos on animation. Watch critiques, see the way people go over demo reels...etc. That's what I did before I enrolled in a school. CGSpectrum has some good ones. They're what I watched before signing up. But you can also search for some.

Also, Kenny Roy has some great resources. If you can afford it I'd recommend signing up there and posting your work on the forums. Get feedback from others outside of your college. Kenny also does great weekly broadcasts where he addresses questions, and does a small lecture.

Hope that helps. Feel free to message me if you post any of your work on here, and I can take a look at it.
