those look really nice..... my bro just got a Sager one though. You might want to take a look @ these:

He got the 3750 series, which is particularly nice because of the wide screen format as well as the power. It's got some great kick. And actually, the one thing that caught my eye most on that was the screen. It has a glossy anti-glare coat so it looks like a projection TV instead of a plastic flat panel.... it's super duper nice indeed...

I say if you are on a budget, they are the best value for money you'll find. Beware, they are cheap laptops both in price and construction. They creak when moved, the audio has constant noise, the screen has a crud pixel response around 35ms, they weigh a fecking ton. If you're right handed, they blow very hot air out of the right side onto your hand, they won't fit in most laptop bags. Dont bother with the optional mp3 player, it sound worse than an old 1980 walkman and eats the batteries in an hour.

The TV input is very fiddly to connect, the front lcd isnt back lit, the latch can break a bit too easilly, the usb ports are all crammed together, the external vga out is a tad blurry and you cant put it on your lap due to the ventilation system.

Other than that, its an ok laptop which is powerful and pretty cheap. I sold mine though because of the above problems.

You will find 100 or so companies sell this same laptop with different names, colours prices and features. They are simply all rebadges Sager / Clevo laptops.

etc, etc....

It really wasted a bad machine, to be honest I could make a list like that about most machines placed in front of me, all these little things, especially the pixel speed and audio noise were just too annoying to live with for me.

Ok imashination

how would you rate Toshibas lap tops then. I'm seeking sleek design, weightlessness, 128 Video RAM and Hyper Threading technolgy just to name a few. And nothing less than 60-80 GIG HD.

what say you about Toshibas "Sattelite" lap tops.
