Hi all I got this concept art from and wanted to make a model of of him, but I don't know from what series he is or what his name is. If someone knows pls rell my I really wanne know.

concept art

I used max 5 and the model is somewhere around 2200 polygons, without optimzing and without the cap. I hope someone can comment on the proportions, because I had a hard time getting them rigt. Any other comments or crittics are also welcom.

Thx for looking.

i like it... wan't wait for it to be meshed and skinned

no clue on the name/game though... but DOES look like something from a final fantasy game... but my memory is bad, and i've never played the games.

It could also be from Breathe of Fire. The art work is somewhat similar. I could be wrong though. Can't wait to see it textured!

while I normally abhor anime, I actually like this little guy that you did. proportion-wise it looks good, but what are those things that stick out from his ankles? ::confused::

thx for the kind replies.
aesir: forgot it. thx for the heads up.
boxsmiley: your right. I did some searching and its seems that it's a woman called Rhem and she's a priest of somesort in Breath of Fire 4. I've never played it.
3dfx: I think their supposed to be leg protection, but I don't really know. What do you think they are? :)

Here's a small update. I'm not a texture wizard and I really have a hard time texturing a half celshaded anime look. I only really worked on the head and just slapped some shadows on the head and arms. The rest is untouched.

Pls tell me your crittics and comments.

For simple anime. You need a toon shade render. Other than that it looks done and great for simple. But for details give it magic sparks and stuff ^v^

toonshader eh? well ok. ;) plus some added texturing, mainly on the goggles, leg armor and hat.
Whatte you guys think of the two snakes? Other crtis and comment are also much apreciated.

geez... that style definitley looks familiar, and yes it reminds me of breath of fire. unless it was in one or two, its not, though, because i know hes not in 3, 4, or DQ. Cant tell if yu fixed it, but in the first models,it looks like you need to make the gut flow better into the chest on the sides, which could be pulled off by puling out the outside verts on the edgeloop the crosses the body where the navel woud be.
