Main Character of a personal short film iam doing(90-120 sec). This is a scene test so i can look at the materials and light behaviour. i have used nurbs for initial head to turn it into poligonal to take control of little areas of the head.
I,ve used max-head.jpg for the initial texture and repaint it to make four different maps. (diffuse,specular c, bump...). well opinions are wellcomes. Thanks. I will post more images next weeks. (all with 3dstudio max 4.2. The original image, i have it at home is more realistic because it is in color but iam now at work and i only have a little test with photoshop (b/W).

good model you can work a little bit more on the eye to make her more realistic and on the ears to .

The head is very good. But like Daxx said, the helmet is not that nice looking. U will need to work on it abit more if u are trying to make a German WW2 helmet.. :)
