This piece is a CG version of a infinity miniature game. Made for the Ficzone 2013 in Spain.

Really dig the fine texturing of all the materials, and all the various frequencies of it really line up with what you'd expect those materials to behave like.
Only on repeated viewing though I noticed how squishy and sausage like the fingers look. That's probably the only thing that could really use some love :)

I would love him to have a more 'industrial' eye visor, as the design kind of stands out from the rest of him.
That, and the fact that he (and this is a pet peeve for me) isn't following proper gun safety and has his finger on the trigger. ;)

What did you use for cloth creation and what settings for vray materials?

Thank you Yuriki. All clothing are made with Zbrush from a base simple mesh of Max. Here i show jacket material. Vraymat in Ward mode with some textures in regulars chanels. Diffuse is made with a Falloff to simulate little fur effect, in front of falloff i set a bitmap texture and sides i configured a composite map, with a b&w texture multipled to force and cutoff falloff effect.
All others clothes have a similar configuration

Genial! Although the pose does not convince me, the modelling and texturing work is great. It also remembers me in somehow to Duke and/or Blade Runner.
