View Full Version : Help, how to model a modern plane?

Hello everyone in the cgtalk community, i am new to this area and been in desperate needs of finding a way to model modern planes (F22 F14 15 etc) if anyone has any tuts or can personally help me over via instant messenger i would grately appreciate it.

Ähm ... What do you asking for at least specially ??? (Modeling techniques, Reference Pics?)
Why not using the same workflow you are already familiar with ... You already made some planes ... The "only" difference if you want to go for high-res models is that you need to refine some areas more and to add details maybe with geometry instead of using texture or so ...
Äh ... a little more precise questions may help ... and maybe screenshots were you have some problems !

In general I can say for now that using reference pics in the background is the first step and a must for sure. Then use Polys to model the basic shape of the plane and after you are satisfied with that continue to define details and add stuff that make it look fine ...
