I got some questions about parameters in Cg. I'm a totally newbie in shaders so I started wit downloading the toolkit and tried to port some example shaders into a OpenGL Delphi program. It all works ok but running the shaders is hard for me as I don't really know what to do with some uniform parameters.
For example, I tried the nice specular bump-mapping demo. At some point you got to give
uniform samplerCUBE normalizeCube,
uniform samplerCUBE normalizeCube2
I know how to make a cubemap but... what's a normalizeCube map? What kind of cubemaps do I need to put in? Is their a tutorial about parameters and stuff? I also found problems with some coordinates as DirectX is a bit different from OpenGL while most demo's are directX.
