One more home-made battle machine .
Made after a very good meal..:)

Hi, This is a Very nice Model, the texturing on the cookies is very good, but you should work on the texture of the nuts and the spoon, they seem a bit out of place.

Great work either way.

That's darn hysterical! I think a little more vibrant lighting and some translucency to the crackers will "Pop out" the scene. It's kinda grey, but then again, that might be intentional.
Also to reaaaaaallly push the fact that these are crackers and it's fragile possibly put some crumbs on the floor.
Above all your work is clever...and that's ten times more important than my suggestions. :applause:

12 December 2003, 08:51 PM
just wait till he posts the rest of his food army :applause:

vlad74: ako ne ti e izvestno veche :)

12 December 2003, 09:54 PM
Hahahaha that is REALLY funny!!! :D

Your idea is just so bizarre, but so comic - I can't help but wonder what it would actually be able to attack? Some soft fruit perhaps?

I think the crackers are a little thick (well in this country that type of cracker is much thinner), and your lighting is a bit bland, but your concept and model are just so funny that I am putting this one on the front page - I'm sure other people will have a good laugh too :)

Very amusing piece

12 December 2003, 09:59 PM
Wow nice idea

12 December 2003, 10:05 PM
Thats cool. It only needs some little mice maning it to make it seem practical. Have a cookie kitchen war....mice vs rats.....or cockroaches. that would be cool. Epic even

12 December 2003, 10:25 PM
Now this really makes me green with envy. Not only is it good modeling and texturing but also a brilliant idea!

Very good!

12 December 2003, 10:31 PM
That's one of the most innovative 3d models I've ever seen, hehe.

Really great, I imagine a little war scene - Cookie Battles. Reminds me of Shrek.

12 December 2003, 10:33 PM
thanks for the link Fritz3D. Leigh you rock.

12 December 2003, 11:02 PM
Very cute idea!

I like the cookies on the upper sides best. The ones that represent the wheels, though, seem a little bit.. dark/gray.

Oh... and "Blitzkrieg" is spelled with an IE ... ;)

Now that would really make it into something. Could be a great little animation.

12 December 2003, 11:19 PM
Man that's hilarious, I'd love to see an animation where some cookies and candies are attacking some "healthy" food!!

Keep it up!! :buttrock:

12 December 2003, 12:47 AM
So delicious work, i love this kind of idea. How about to create more series like this, maybe you can do a movie with these things, LOL

Well done. :applause:

12 December 2003, 12:51 AM
you can innovatevely call it "nut cracker" :)

good work...

Yahoo!! Another use for the term "food fight"!

Very nicely rendered.

Aren't you destroying the evidence? Good comment, though.

12 December 2003, 01:44 AM
"man, i'm starving."

"you should have had some trisket crackers in the car on the way over."

"maybe if you told me you had some delicious trisket crackers, i would of had some!"

"sorry - "

" - sorry won't put the trisket crackers in my stomach, now will it, carl?!!"

- quote from "Billy Madison"

i would like this machine to contain some cheese - maybe have the rope be stringed cheese?

brighter lights, more shadows would be nice too. thanks for original piece, tho - always good to see someone mix it up 'round hea...

12 December 2003, 04:02 AM

Something around the nuts looks off. Maybe it is the lighitng but they almost look like they are floating there.

12 December 2003, 07:58 AM
Thank you ,guys !

It was fun to make this model and I’m so happy to see you have fun too watching it :)

Thanks for all critiques and good ideas – all have them in advance for the next one- definitely.

And ..yea! – a little battle animation with this one sounds very nice..-why not :)

A na bulgaraskata kompaniq specialni blagodarnosti za uchastieto :))

12 December 2003, 08:41 AM
Nice idea.... but you must have very hard teeth to bite that cookies. ;)

12 December 2003, 09:37 AM
Nice to see a fellow bulgarian on the forum, even nicer to see you plugged  Excellent concept and modeling!

12 December 2003, 10:24 AM
LOL! Very funny and nicely made too :)
Just one thing... you spelled "Blitzkrieg" wrongly! :)

12 December 2003, 10:57 AM
good work :))))))))))) (poluchavam sliunkootdeliane)
perfect render

12 December 2003, 11:28 AM
U rock!:buttrock:

12 December 2003, 11:35 AM
this carazy model is very weird and funny, i like it all, but the only think is bothering me is the first nut on the top, it looks is floating, try to locate it down and put some scene in... cracked cookies on the floor or a package... and try to age the spoon, more opaque than gloss... good work

12 December 2003, 12:18 PM
in german we would say blitzkrieg (in history books only)

very kewl idea!

12 December 2003, 12:19 PM
whatta nice idea! i really like it.

i think you should play a little bit more with the bump maps. now, edges of the cookies are way too sharp in my opinion.

very good job... keep it up.

i would love to see whole army in this style :)

12 December 2003, 12:30 PM
hehe, great idea man I love it, is this the artillary in some sort of cheese war perhaps:surprised

Keep up the good work

12 December 2003, 12:43 PM
Man,-this “Blitzkreig”-thing will take my head off :p Next time I’ll ask before write :)

PeXel : that was the idea - I found it in one german dictionary :)

12 December 2003, 01:27 PM
Creative Idea!!

12 December 2003, 02:25 PM
jep blitzkrieg, not kreig

but i think you do not really want your picture called blitzkrieg, sounds a bit hard in my ears, when i think about WW II

but the idea i so cool :)

i will do this kakething today evening in real and eat it

12 December 2003, 03:00 PM
If you build a real one, please photograph it before you eat it. Then please post the photo here.

12 December 2003, 03:13 PM
Even though this scene has a high calorie count, it is brilliant!

Keep up the good work!

whoa neato, i definitely dig it. i'm so lazy i only read the first page, so i might repeat what someone said...

GI lighting is always a nice way of lighting models just for show but I've noticed that most people don't make them as dynamic as they can be. I agree with Leigh...

my suggestion is that you would add just one light with very little illumination. this way, you actually get shadows and it adds more depth to the model. anyhow, i love the model. very rad concept.

12 December 2003, 09:45 PM I can almost taste the cookies.
