I wanted to touch base and let you know about 2013 Citrus Cel Animation Film Festival. Citrus Cel is April 4-6 2013. If you or any of your friends have any work that would be eligible for screening, please submit! It is FREE! We have been receiving a bunch of great stuff! Look forward to seeing your submissions! Please submit to "The Art of Storytelling" exhibit as well. This exhibition will celebrate great design in animation and illustration. Types of work accepted include:
General (narrative), Concept designs, Character designs, Storyboards, Graphic novels, and Children’s books

For more information please visit:

I would like to also invite you guys to sign up for JUICED!
JUICED! is the animation competition at the Citrus Cel Animation Film Festival, where teams race to create an animated short in a mere 24 hours. All teams will be provided with a packet of assets that they must incorporate into their animations, as well as an overall theme. It is up to you to create a dynamic and interesting short film that will have the audience cheer! All films completed on time will be screened before Pure Premium, the second night of the festival. Finally, one winner/team will be chosen and awarded a prize. Do you have what it takes to get JUICED!?

We would like to offer a special thanks to one of this year's sponsors, YouSendit, for providing our teams with a drop box and space to submit their films and files.

The festival has grown. We have continued to work to bring the best festival and conference experience to you. We are so excited to bring the next edition of Citrus Cel to the Florida Theatre, Jacksonville’s premiere entertainment center since 1927! With all of this growth, we need to raise additional funding to continue to bring the very best! Please check out the page, share, and donate if you can!

Thank you for your contributions and awareness to keeping the arts alive in our local, regional, and national communities. We hope to see you all in April!
