View Full Version : Quadro 4 or Quadro FX?

Alright, once again I'm browsing ebay, and I see a Quadro 4 900 XGL, nice price (at the moment at least) and a Quadro FX 500. I've been told not to go under 900 for quadro 4's or something, but I've never been told anything about Quadro fx's. Which would be "better". I mean I'm lookin for stability for 3d and games.

3D stability both cards are great. If you want DX9 functionality than go for the FX500. Keep in mind that the card is basically too slow to play actual DX9 games with, other games should be OK.

Thx for the reply!

I'd just like to say I'm sorry for swarming the board with my small questions, but this is the best place I know of for answers.

Thx everyone

are you expecting to play recent games that might use the directX 9 spec if so the quadro fx 500 might be good. the quadro 4 900 XGL I think might be more expensive but if your going to use that power its worth it.
