I am compositing toghether an animation where several scenes are to be put together in a nice sequence. One of the problems is getting the shader glows right, and I would very much like to do this in my compositing package instead of re-rendering frames and trying to get it right.
As I see it there are three ways to solve this, in order of preference:
1. There is some nice way I don't know about, which you are dying to tell me about :D
2. I can write a plugin that rips the shaderGlow map from maya via an MRenderCallback :: postProcessCallback routine.
3. I need to re-assign all textures to black and re-render it all just to get the glowing objects :cry:
If you have a couple of ones out there I will worship your very existence.
