Josh Herman is back with his sell out course, Hard Surface Character Modeling.

Robots, mechs and sci-fi suits of armour. These each provide their own unique challenges and are quite different, but they all share something in common. They are characters.

Josh will share his process and knowledge that hes learnt from creating characters and robots from movies like Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Real Steel and Total Recall. He will show you how to create a robotic character while focusing on things like proportion, shape, rhythm, silhouette and muscularity.

To find out more and to see a week by week course outline, head to CGWorkshops ( .

"Josh's workshop taught me a lot more then I initially expected when I went. His lessons are very good show his workflow in a very extensive way, you get to see every step from start to finish. It was awesome to watch the workflow and learn from a truely amazing artist. If someone would ask me if I would take it again, in a heartbeat!" - Patrick van Rooijen, student Sept 2012

"Its not every day we get to interact with someone as experienced as you, and its been great. Especially the sneak peaks at Iron Man ( im a big fan ) Its a bummer it has to end, as i have really enjoyed every minute of it." - Adam Shaw, student Sept 2012

With testimonials that positive from past students, can you really resist the desire to enroll now ( ?
