My character's UVs are seperated into two patches: One for the head and one for the body. The head's UV patch is offset in U by 1 so it sits to the right of the UV square. The body's UVs are in normal 0 to 1 UV space. In Maya it's simple to offset the UV position of a color map by adding 1 to U so that my UV layout works, but the Color Map VEX node in Houdini prevents this working properly because it either repeats the image, or clamps it to 0 to 1 UV space.
