Trying to get round to modeling my first vehicle (for a racing title) and wondering what the current polycount for one of them would be for a modern game... Any idea?

I know the cars in Project Gotham 2 for xbox were between 5000 and 6000 polys. depends what platform your developing for i guess. GT3 on PS2 had cars around 3000. Hope this helps

Thanks that helps a lot. I am delevoping the model for a portfolio piece so I guess I'll aim for something between 5000 and 6000 polys...
