Me and a group of blenderheads have started work on a community/collaborative project.. it is a 3D version of a popular joke that hopefully will be done before the next Blender Conference.

Well.. here is a WIP to show how things are going on the project.. many thanks to Ada89 for the lighting help.

99.99% blender.. 0.01% gimp (texture preparation).

I'm a Blender newbie and I see a world of potential in it.

I look forward to what a knowledgeable team of Blenderheads will do. I like the image. I am most impressed by the lighting. Very cool.

Apollux, I don't know why I did not see the thread at elysiun. I must be friggin blind.

This looks like it will be a great project. I wish I could help, but I am in the middle of doing my own collaberative project with Stefano (S68). So no time.

I mean... two of the most famous blenderheads working together? That's unfair !!!

LMAO!! Well, it is an honour to be working with Stefano. We probably won't have anything done until Feb-March to look at. Just be patient, as the two of us don't have a whole lot of time.

I just noticed the texturing is done on the cabinets. they look great. This thing is going to be cool for sure.
