Speed Modelling 16
Welcome to the new speed modelling.
We are a couple of members here now that try to rotate the activities between us, if you got some ideas for items that we model or if you want to post a thread on your own let us know.
Let's just try to stick with weekly activites otherwise with my personal experience in here it is difficult to keep the ball rolling.
There will be a new thread every Saturday from different members.
This weeks theme is: "Princess Sarah"
Time limit 1 hour
Candle with candleholder
Time limit 2 hours - as it is more complexe
You can do the things right out of the story or do your own designs.
For those who wanna stick to the storys design:
Hope you like it.
Candle with candleholder, 20 minutes modeling + 20 minutes for setting up the render settings and render...
The flame is just a simple mesh, didn't have time for particles and stuff...

Whom, you make always so beautiful renders! Maybe you'll find some time and learn how to do the flame!
Here is my doll (Emily from Prinzess Sarah) after 2 hours work:

Crestview High School
Sundaynights, I am getting less involved with the forum these days it seems, I'm not gonna post my themes anymore at this moment so feel free to inherit this section and make the changes you see fit.
I think you are doing fine with your ideas and topics, keep it up. :)

Thats a pitty whom! But I will do my best. Come back when you have time and interest, whould appreciate your participation!
Is there someone who wants to post up the next challenge on saturday?
The shape of the candle-holder and candle is very simple - but it seems the fokus was on the light. How did he set it up? Looks not so realistic but I like the rings of light going around it.

Hmnn, actually sort of chomping at the bits to do so. . . . but, if I do really need to make certain I would do it justice myself then.
decisions, decisions. . .
