View Full Version : Error: Skelegon with 1 vertices do i fix this?

I keep getting a message that I have a skelegon with 1 vertices so Layout won't convert my skelegons to bones...I have no idea what that means or how to find and delete (or fix) it.

(ive looked in my manual and can't find anything on this either)

It means you have a skelgon with one vertices, you must have deleted a skelegon while in Point mode and missed a vert. To fix this in modaler select Polygon mode then open up the stats window "w", just select the 1 vert and hit delete.

Hope this helps

You rock, thanks! That worked. :applause: I just didn't know how to select that 1 vertices thing.

Plus, this thing often happens when drawing a skel for the very first time. be sure to click and drag its tip out when you start creating the first skelegon.
otherwise you create always a one point skelegon. hope this make some sense!:)

If you actually want to convert this skelegon into a two point skelegon. Select its parent or child and drag the point they share.
