I have a set of stairs on a building that I'd like to scale along the Z axis to shorten all together. The problem is that by default scaling happens from the center of the things selected. I'd like to scale based off the bottom stair, to keep to the ground level.
I was thinking perhaps there is a way to snap the 3d cursor to a vertex or position, and then possibly scale from the 3d cursor. Is this possible?
After looking at the wiki, still pretty confused. I understand how the 3d cursor can be placed, but still not sure how I can do rotation, transform, and scale off the 3d cursor and not just some selection's center.
