View Full Version : Expression Query Object Shader is Assigned to.

So here's the situation:

You want tons of objects to turn a certain color when they pass a certain boundary (you can use a projected ramp for this, but I'd love a programming solution for flexibility). I have a current setup that uses an condition node and determines the position of an object (hard coded) and then changes the color. Obviously this doesn't work on multiple objects and you'd have to create many conditional nodes and or shaders and or expressions to solve that.

Tl;dr: Is there a way of independently executing a script on all of the objects that have a shader assigned?
