View Full Version : Camera eye point

I am designing a plug-in in C++ which will need to have a vector going from a point on the surface of an object to the camera. Up until not I have just been using the translate position of the camera, but it does not give the exact results which I am looking for. Ultimatley I would like to have this correct eye position as an input to the plugin rather than pull the data from the camera object using the API.

Any ideas?

I use the camera's world translation as the eye as well, and it seems exact enough.
