View Full Version : Opteron, Maya and AGP

Has anyone heard of any problems when using AGP with Opteron boards that support it? I once heard of some issues, but don't know what to make of it now. There's a Tyan board out now with AGP8x, I'm thinking of buying it for a dual Opteron system I plan on getting.

I also heard that videogame performance is great with Opterons, so does that mean my FX1000 will perform better with an Opteron than a Xeon system? This is all for Maya and geometry heavy scenes.

And does anyone know of any benchmarks for Maya comparing these processors?

Okay, that's alot of questions, I'll stop now.
