View Full Version : Realistic Fog ?

i'm sure that most of you have see the Biomechanoid(so awesome!!!) by Squidinc in the 3d character section in the gallery.
my question is, how do you get those kind of fog effects in lightwave? because every time i try to play with the fog i always get a flat lookin effect, kida looks like it was painted in post not very realistic.

It looks like nothing more than z-depth fog, done in a compositing program.

Its a nice looking piece he did but very doable in LW. Im not sure what problems youre having with fog. There are a lot of ways to do the fog or get fog like effects. Cim also mentioned one of them. :)
