View Full Version : Transform w. custom MPxSurfaceShape doesn't show up in the Outliner

Hello everyone

I implemented a custom shape using MPxSurfaceShape that i have connected to a custom transform, implemented using MPxTransform. Now, the transform is not visible in the Outliner if i haven't selected "Show" > "Show all". It is visible however, if i attach a normal NURBS or polygon shape.

So my question, is there somewhere in the C++ API, maybe under the MPxSurfaceShape, where i can configure the shape so that transforms having it as a child will appear in the Outliner?

Did you try to check the behavior of the rockingTransform example from the sdk?
