I modeled this in Max 5.1. Still working out the rigging right now. I plan on adding in facial bones when I am done. Hopefully I will be able to get around to texturing this guy soon. But for now, here what I have. He's sitting around 3300 poly's.

hands way to big imho. Good overall.

I think the hands are alright...
If you put your wrist on your chin you can reach halfway your forehead with your fingers. Hands are bigger than you think ;-)
The flow of the edgeloops seems a little messy in places, but very nice model!
The area between neck and shoulder is weird tho.

ok... look at the model, look at his head and hands and do what you just said... they are too big.

I think the biggest problem with the hands is that the fingers are too long...
also you could work a bit more on the "lower part in the back of his legs" muscles (have no idea of what they are called ;) )
