View Full Version : Sorta OT: A Gold Telly for me

11-26-2003, 07:47 PM
Well, I've helped a number of people get a Telly award before, but this is the first time I got one all to my self. A Gold one, too. It's no Emmy or Oscar, but still pretty cool. ALL of it was Lightwave, too. No AFX mixed in on any of the pieces submitted.

Not sure exactly everything that was submitted, but it sure had a lot of this (http://www.magicanimation.com/Heart/) and this (http://www.magicanimation.com/intubation).

 Kudos for getting recognized for your efforts.
BTW, what kind of beer?

Well, I'm more of a Becks guy. If you want something more substantial there's an excellent PA brewery named Yuengling (oldest in US) that makes a great Porter.
Of course under the circumstances I suppose I could splurge for some Chimay.

A huge congratulations to you Zarathustra! Do you feel that virtual pat on the back and standing ovation.

That's extremely nice work!

Congrats dude. :buttrock:

I was involved in winning several Telly awards (12 or so) for the video company I used to work at. I went freelance in Oct 2000 and then I won a Telly award just for my own animation last year and I had a much bigger sense of acomplishment because it was just me and Lightwave that won this time.

So congrats again and I share your excitement.

Now on to the Emmy's then the Oscar. :buttrock:

Keep on rockin man!

js33: EXACTLY where I'm at. This one's MINE. No sharing (except for Lightwave and my Mac). :)
