View Full Version : Particles disappear after collision

I have a simple TP setup, the particles follow a spline (C4D's TP preset) and after a few seconds they hit a reflector object, the bounce is set to zero.

The effect I'm looking for is that the particles block the blood vessel, but unfortunately the particles disappear one after another. The particle lifetime is set to "documents length", no death operator or something semilar.

Do I need Dynamics for the blocking itself? Can someone help me?

i guess itīs the lifetime of your particles. dont set it to document length, alsways use your own values.
regarding the blcking fo the blood: can be done with dynacmis, you dont necesserily need them. itīs also possible within TP itself. Thereīs a PassAB node, and some diggin into TP will help.
ask if you canīt achive it.

sorry for my late answer. I figured it out by myself. You are right, the lifetime was the problem.
I solved the colission problem via TP and Dynamics.
